Now that is cool. Check it out.

RE-design your friend’s facebook (this could incite war)

Yesterday I showed you how I ‘designed my facebook’ using the new profile set up for some fun customization. This morning I got to work (no internet at home right now) to see that one of my friends had RE-designed my facebook for me. Touche to her! I laughed out loud in the office.

Use this power wisely friends!

Design your new Facebook profile

Ok so I admit I saw this idea on tumblr and stole it instead of doing work, but I couldn’t resist. What’s the best twist on the new profile you have seen? Send us a screenshot!

Need some help figuring it out? Here’s a quick explanation…

1. First of all I took a screen shot of my profile, so I could use it to measure the size & position of the photos needed.

2. Then I pulled that image into illustrator (but you could use photoshop)

3. Pull some guides for each of the images on your profile

3. Pick the picture you want to use and pull that into illustrator as well, and position it on top and delete the original.

4. Take screenshots of each section (with Illustrator/Photoshop view at 100%)

5. Upload the set of photos, and set your profile pic as the largest, and then tag yourself in the other photos, in order of right to left.

Voila

?

Too Much Info: Let’s get to know you

To any web developers/designers out there…

What’s your take on using Illustrator versus Photoshop for designing and building websites. Is Photoshop better or traditional? Is Illustrator inferior or less widely used because not many know how to use it correctly?

So… Photoshop or Illustrator?

I’m not impressed by the visuals in this video, but the statistics and it’s general message are interesting.
