This is such an incredibly minimalist approach to CD packaging. As much as it is appealing I doubt it is very functional. One scratch to that top coat of the CD could wreck the info on it. (couldn’t it?)

Black Water.. what a concept. This packaging that ‘changes’ when empty is a great move. Albeit you only get to enjoy this twist AFTER you have purchased and used the product - so is it really effective marketing?

Useful | Useful is a a design studio based in London, UK. Their client list includes Topman, YMC, Used Magazine, Olivia Morris, Hanna Ter Meulen and Freedom Jewllery. The images above are from the identity and branding of Draw In Light. I love the packaging of the catalog, the print is lovely and the color pallet is spot on. The typography is clean and done with wonderful care for details and works fantastically with the photographs.

We were approached by “Draw In Light” to create the branding for their new woamns wear label. We created an identity based around the idea of light and crystials that ran from the logo to the imagery for the AW/10 colletion. We art directed, photographed, retouched, designed and produced a look book which incorporated an exclusive numbered screen printed poster. We also design and created the website.

Have a look at more of Useful’s works here.

Designed by Swear Words | Country: Australia  Having grown up in a country which produces and exports ‘raw’ sugar, I have to say unrefined sugar is FAR superior to the taste of white sugar. This packaging is bold and modern while reflecting back on the older days of simplicity with it’s brown paper bag and block serif typeface.

Sweet Sweet Simplicity

Lovely package

Designed by Jamie Nash | Country: United Kingdom
“Design and illustration for Lovely Honey. The identity uses a heart motif to reference both the name of the product and also the natural health benefits associated with honey. A limited colour palette and hand drawn style helps create a simple, natural feel. The heart motif continues throughout across items such as secondary packaging and illustrations.”

This is genius packaging.
Anyone know the original designer? I keep finding only the image with no attribution on imgur.
