Inspired by a text with a similar title,”The Lofty Message of Forest and Streams” - attributed to the artist, Guo Xi (郭熙), a traditional Chinese painter with illusive displacement for mother nature’s landscapes. Using instead, the facial form as a floating narrative for my line art, giving base to the faces i see in real life and in dreams.
